Casa de Los Bates – Motril, Granada
Casa de los Bates is set within tropical gardens that boast romantic fountains, waterfalls, 100 year old palm trees and pigmy palms – amongst others flora – in fact, the local Government of Andalusia has declared the gardens as being of artistic value and interest.
The house has lost little of its aristocratic ambience and incorporates 19th century marble, classical clocks on the walls, Chinese partition screens encrusted with mother of pearl and old family photographs.
The rooms have kept their high ceilings whilst the suites have great views of the Granada coast. Indeed, the Casa de los Bates is set on top of a hill providing wonderful views of the sea and castle of Salobreña – all in all privileged spot in the heart of the tropical coast of Granada.
