Salduna Beach – Estepona, Marbella
Carli and Juan´s Special Day.
Salduna Beach in Estepona near Marbella was the chosen venue of Carli and Juan to celebrate their special day. With Juan originally from this area and many family still nearby Estepona holds some great memories for this lovely couple.
Carli´s preparations began at the Gran Hotel Elba Estepona with her bridesmaid. Carli´s niece and nephew then joined them and were given gifts, Carli´s nephew´s gift, a superman outfit was appreciated so much that he insisted on wearing it straight away, the only problem then was that he didn´t want to take it off, so there was a surprise for all the guests as he later walked down the aisle.
As the girls (and superman) finished getting ready I headed off to Salduna Beach to capture some photographs of Juan and the guests arriving. The set up on the beach with the sea as the backdrop looked stunning, and the guests admired the view across to Gibraltar which could be seen on this beautiful clear day.
As the bridesmaid and superman made their way down the aisle Juan was struggling to hold back his emotion, I could tell that this was going to be a very emotional ceremony. As Carli got closer to Juan and Carli´s Dad gave her hand to him the happiness was clear to see in their eyes. It was a beautiful ceremony lead by Natasha of malaga minister and as the personal vows written by Carli and Juan were read the tears could not be held back any longer. There was not a dry eye amongst the guests, even the groomsman were teary!
After the ceremony guests congratulated the happy couple and the celebrations began. I took the happy couple onto the beach for some alone time and a chance to take some photographs of just the two of them with this stunning backdrop.
There was then time for some group family photographs before sitting down to dinner. Speeches were enjoyed before eating, with lots of laughter, more tears and memories shared.
After dinner the cake was cut before the evening celebrations were to begin. The dancing was kicked off by a fantastic first dance by Carli and Juan, one of the best first dances that I have seen. Everyone else then joined in and dancing and drinking carried on into the early hours.
